Pass Plus
Build upon your existing driving skills with no test at the end. Once you have completed the necessary skill area your instructor will simply sign you off as either achieved or exceeded.
Thousands of new drivers enjoy the benefits of Pass Plus, from help with your first trip down a motorway or driving around your local inner city routes.
This is aimed at people who are within a year of passing their driving test but you can take the course at any time in your driving career.
The six structured modules give extra experience at a time when you are most likely to have an accident, and the amount you can save on insurance could cover the cost of the training.
• Town Driving
• All Weather Driving
• Out of Town Driving
• Night Driving
• Dual Carriageways
• Motorways
Once all six modules have been completed you simply send away your record of achievement and you will receive a certificate from the Driving Standards Agency which you can use to claim an insurance discount.
Case Study
When student Israr Sabir passed his test he was astonished at the cost of insurance quotes. Within two months he had completed a Pass Plus course.
Israr's brother-in-law, a policeman, recommended Pass Plus to him. He had been ringing up companies to get a one litre Micra insured and the quotes ranged from £1500 to £1800 fully comprehensive. Israr was keen to get full cover because he knew that newly qualified drivers often have accidents within the first year of driving. He also wanted experience at motorway and inner city driving. After successfully completing Pass Plus he managed to insure the car for just under £1,000, making a huge saving.
